Maryland Reader Recommends Attorney Philip Santa Maria and His Book About Handling Insurance Claims

I hired Maryland attorney Philip Santa Maria to handle my personal injury claim a couple of years ago. He was recommended to me by a co-worker who was very happy with the settlement Mr. Santa Maria got for her after she was injured in a particularly nasty car accident. At the time, I thought that this attorney was very professional and efficient, as well as polite, and that he really listened to me during our meetings. I really liked that when I told him the name of the insurance adjuster I had been trying to work with, he said “Oh, I know her.” He obviously knew his way around the insurance company.

What I did not realize at that time was what a big deal he was. He is such an unassuming man for an attorney (and also has a great sense of humor). I have since been involved in another car accident and decided to do some research of my own to determine whether I should go back to Mr. Santa Maria or hire a different attorney. It is not that I wasn’t satisfied with him, but just that I like to be absolutely sure that I am making the right decision, and after all, things do change with time.

I have since found out Attorney Santa Maria has been an attorney for over 25 years. He can practice law in Maryland, California and the District of Columbia. He has been a member of the prestigious “Who’s Who in American Law” for the majority of that time. He has handled many cases worth over a million dollars (mine was not one of them). He also has a military background, having served as a Judge Advocate for 4 years in the Air Force. I like a man who has shown his commitment to our country, especially these days.

I also really like that Attorney Santa Maria is willing to share his knowledge with the rest of us. He has written an e-book titled "The Car Accident Claims Kit". His receptionist actually told me about this book when I called his office, so I looked into it. This book takes you through every step of the claims handling process, gives you tips and checklists to use, as well as actual case examples. He admits that most people can handle their own personal injury claims if they just know what to do. The pointers in his book can even get you through filing a case in small claims court if you cannot settle your case. Frankly, I don't know why Mr. Santa Maria would share this information unless he is considering retirement; that would be a shame.

I wish that I had this book years ago. If you do not live in a state where Attorney Santa Maria can personally help you, I would highly recommend this book. Attorney Santa Maria's book may be found at The Car Accident Claims Kit.
