I Mitigated and Got Ripped Off
by: Rick

When my back got hurt in an accident, I thought I would be a nice guy and get some massages instead of seeing a physical therapist. I don't know how much a therapist is, but the girl who massaged my back only charged $90 a visit. I'd call that mitigation. The insurance company told me that I didn't get medical care so they offered me a few hundred to settle. I ended up having to take the money because of timing and all that, but I'm still pissed and I don't think that was fair.
