You Need to Carry a Camera
by: Lisa

I used to think that the police took pictures of the accidents that they investigated, too. Then I was involved in one. It was actually a pretty bad collision; both of our automobiles had to be towed and I went to the hospital in an ambulance. It just about scared my family to death.

Fortunately everything turned out to be okay, but for a while I had such a hard time convincing the other guy's insurance company to pay my claim. They eventually did, but I know that things would have been so much easier if someone had just had a camera and taken pictures of the scene to show the other driver's skid marks coming across the center line.

Now I always carry a disposable camera in the glove box of my van. Fortunately, I have not needed to use it yet, but it is there if I need it.
